Velostan^® is a cytostatic drug currently under investigation as an anticancer agent and as an antimicrobial.

Velostan^® is the first compound in a group of chemically related compounds that are believed to work by blocking cell division and reversing the malignant process in the cancer cell. We believe the optical isomer we have developed is more active and less toxic than its parent compound.
